Climate Pride Actions
Climate Pride at COP30 / 2025
Climate Pride in action at COP30: a Climate Pride delegation in Belém calls to adopt a clear and ambitious roadmap to phase out fossil fuels. Bottom-up pressure for a just transition that puts communities, territories, and climate justice at the center.
Climate Pride / 2025
On 15 November, Climate Pride returns to the streets of Rome: a rebellious street parade for climate, social, and multispecies justice. A mobilization against the fossil system, wars, and inequalities — building convergence and transformation from below.
Climate Pride in Bologna / 2025
On 12 April 2025, Climate Pride took to the streets of Bologna with a parade for climate justice, urban ecologies, and the convergence of struggles. In the streets against crisis, war, and inequality, to imagine and build alternatives from below.
Climate Pride at COP30 / 2025
On 25 February 2025, Climate Pride returned to the streets of Rome, in front of the FAO, to demand climate justice and concrete commitments for biodiversity. Masked activists staged a symbolic performance while COP16 negotiations were underway.
Climate Pride / 2024
On 16 November 2024, dozens of organizations — united by the need for a just ecological transition — marched through the streets of the capital to raise awareness among the public and decision-makers about the urgent need to move beyond a fossil-based development model.
What is Climate Pride
Climate Pride brings into the streets the ecological transition we want to build in our territories: renewable energy, energy saving, reduced consumption, circular economy, inclusive decision-making processes, and community leadership.
It is a political and cultural response to an anthropocentric, fossil-based model that treats the planet as a resource to exploit rather than a web of relationships to defend.
Climate Pride overturns this narrative: not eco-anxiety, but political imagination; not profit, but care; not domination, but multispecies alliance.

Why Climate Pride
We are living through a climate, social, and democratic crisis produced by an economic system that enriches the few while shifting the costs onto communities, territories, and ecosystems.
This is why Climate Pride connects the climate struggle with those for peace, rights, dignified work, social justice, the liberation of peoples, and the defence of biodiversity.
The ecological transition cannot be left to corporations, greenwashing, or market logics. It must be just, rapid, redistributive, and led by communities.
Our Vision
Climate Pride advances a multispecies vision: human life is not separate from the rest of the living world. We are part of a complex, interdependent ecological web — and from this comes an ecocentric, cooperative, and radical politics.
Climate justice means phasing out fossil fuels, stopping wars and extractivism, defending biodiversity, and building a just transition led by communities, knowledge, and science.
What We Do
Climate Pride builds convergence among associations, movements, trade unions, social spaces, and local groups fighting against fossil fuels, wars, inequality, and ecological devastation.
We take to the streets with mobilizations and street parades, activate artivism and ecocentric imaginaries, and build political campaigns and cultural materials — weaving together climate struggles with social and territorial ones.
A Broad, Conflictual, Living Network
Climate Pride is a space of convergence among environmental, social, trade union, transfeminist, student, and cultural actors. A broad and plural network that chooses to stay together across differences and conflicts, recognizing climate justice as a shared ground.
An open process, nourished by participation, relationships, and radical transformation.
What We Demand
Climate Justice
Wealthy countries and major polluters must take responsibility for the historical causes of the climate crisis.
End Fossil Fuels
We need a rapid and just transition to renewable energy, with an end to fossil fuel subsidies and false solutions.
Redistribution
The transition must be paid for by the super-rich, fossil corporations, and those who have accumulated profits by devastating the planet.
Adaptation and Support for Affected Communities
The climate crisis is already here: we need public, accessible, and equitable resources for those who are already facing its impacts.
System Change
There is no just transition without peace, without an end to colonialism, without social rights, and without democratic participation.
